These tools are designed to promote user awareness and online safety. However, Phish Net cannot guarantee complete protection against all threats, attacks, or vulnerabilities.

  • Use a valid email address and refrain from creating multiple or fraudulent accounts.

Phish Net, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or poses a security or integrity risk to the platform.

User Privacy and Data Handling

Phish Net is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with all applicable data protection laws and Apple's App Store Review Guidelines.

  • We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the service.
  • Personal information is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • AI-powered scanning and analysis are limited to submitted content and processed securely.
  • Scan records and account alerts are automatically and permanently deleted after 90 days. You may export your data at any time from the Settings page before this period expires.
  • You may request data or account deletion at any time by contacting support@phishnetapp.com or through your in-app settings.

For full details on how we handle your data, please review our Privacy Policy.

Content Reporting and Moderation

Phish Net includes community and discussion areas. To maintain a safe environment, users can report harmful or inappropriate content directly in the app or by emailing support@phishnetapp.com.

We review all reports promptly and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate our community guidelines, including harassment, spam, or misinformation.

AI Scan Results Disclaimer

Phish Net uses artificial intelligence to analyze links, emails, messages, and other submitted content for potential phishing, spam, and security threats. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated scan results are not infallible and may contain errors, false positives, or false negatives.

Scan results should be used as one layer of awareness and should not be solely relied upon as the definitive determination of whether a link, message, or email is safe or malicious. Phish Net, LLC is not liable for any harm, loss, or damages arising from actions taken or not taken based on scan results. Always exercise independent judgment and consult additional security resources when in doubt.

Subscription Plans

Phish Net offers three subscription tiers:

Starter (Free)

Includes Link Scanner (5 scans/month), Blog Access, NetConnect Community, and basic support.

Pro ($10/month)

Includes Phishing Scan (20 scans/month), Link Scanner (20 scans/month), advanced analytics, and priority support with 24-hour response time.

Pro+ ($25/month)

Includes unlimited phishing and link scans, advanced analytics, and premium support with 2-hour response time.

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis starting from the date you first subscribe and renew automatically each month unless canceled. Payment and renewal are processed through the platform where you subscribed: Stripe (web), Apple App Store (iOS), or Google Play Store (Android). You may cancel at any time through your account settings or directly through your platform's subscription management (App Store, Google Play, or Stripe billing portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access to paid features until then.

For subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google, renewal, billing disputes, and refund requests are governed by Apple's or Google's respective terms and must be managed through those platforms. Phish Net, LLC does not have the ability to issue refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google.

No refunds are provided for partial billing periods for web (Stripe) subscriptions.

Account Inactivity

An account is considered inactive if there has been no login or activity for a period of 24 consecutive months (2 years). Phish Net, LLC reserves the right to send a notice to the email address on file prior to any action being taken on an inactive account.

After the inactivity period, we may, at our discretion, permanently delete the account and all associated data including scan history, community posts, comments, and profile information. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before doing so. You can prevent account deletion by logging in at any time.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PHISH NET, LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Phish Net is a detection and awareness tool and is not a guarantee of protection against phishing attacks, cybercrime, or data loss.

Limitation of Liability

While Phish Net strives to provide accurate and reliable phishing detection, no cybersecurity system can ensure total protection.

Phish Net, LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of or inability to use the service, including data breaches, phishing losses, or system errors.

Use of the service is at your own risk.

User Content License

By submitting content to the Service, including community posts, comments, or images shared on NetConnect, you grant Phish Net, LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and moderate that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to share any content you post, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights. You retain ownership of your content. We do not claim ownership of user-generated content.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Phish Net platform, including its name, logo, branding, software, AI models, design, and content created by us, are and remain the exclusive property of Phish Net, LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

Informal Resolution First: Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by sending written notice to support@phishnetapp.com describing the nature of your claim and the relief you seek. We will have 30 days from receipt of that notice to try to resolve the dispute informally. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, either party may proceed to formal arbitration as described below.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in New Jersey. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Exceptions: Either party may seek emergency injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration. Small claims court actions are also excluded from mandatory arbitration.

Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by Phish Net, LLC. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, terms, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy policy and terms of service of any third-party website you visit. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Phish Net, LLC.

Price Changes

Phish Net, LLC reserves the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price increase via email to the address on file and/or via in-app notification before the change takes effect.

Your continued use of a paid subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes your agreement to the new pricing. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect and retain access through the end of your current billing period.

Beta & Experimental Features

From time to time, Phish Net may offer access to beta, preview, or experimental features that are still under development. These features are provided "AS IS" without any warranty or guarantee of stability, accuracy, or continued availability. Phish Net, LLC is not liable for any issues arising from your use of beta features, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue them at any time without notice.

Force Majeure

Phish Net, LLC shall not be held responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, cyberattacks, government restrictions, or acts of God.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or in-app notification.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or to Phish Net, LLC.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

No failure or delay by Phish Net, LLC in exercising any right, power, or remedy under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right. No single or partial exercise of any right shall preclude any other or further exercise of that right or any other right. Any waiver must be made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Phish Net, LLC to be effective.
